An officer told the outlet that 11 is the youngest he’d found, but that younger and younger kids are often getting included in auto theft and carjacking strategies. The 14-12 months-previous suspect arrested in the attempted Dodge heist was not the only child that age arrested above the past weekend for automobile theft. The other 14-year-outdated was also a repeat offender. Authorities are convinced that youthful young children are staying recruited due to the fact they are unlikely to experience stiff penalties. Handing orders in excess of to these youngsters also serves to isolate the older people and more mature teens from the criminal offense itself.

The Charger and Challenger (and Hellcats in unique) are well-known theft targets in metro Detroit owing in no tiny aspect to their ubiquity in the area avenue racing and stunting communities. After all, if Dodge can suit a supercharged V8 into everything it sells, a shady mechanic can way too.
