McLaren announces CEO Mike Flewitt is stepping down

LONDON — McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt is stepping down immediately after more than eight a long time in cost of the supercar company.

The British automaker introduced his departure Wednesday, without having specifying why he is leaving.

Flewitt joined McLaren as main functioning officer in June 2012 and was appointed CEO in July 2013.
