Lucid Group to build first factory outside the U.S. in Saudi Arabia

U.S. electric powered car or truck maker Lucid Group will established up its initial overseas factory in Saudi Arabia, the organization has introduced.

The manufacturing facility will be equipped to generate 155,000 cars a calendar year, and will in the beginning provide the neighborhood industry, the luxurious car maker reported in a press release Wednesday. The cars will later be exported to world-wide marketplaces.

Lucid’s manufacturing facility in Arizona can develop 350,000 units a year.

Lucid’s Rawlinson said the corporation would want to create extra than electric automobiles in Saudi Arabia, and pointed to electricity storage devices that could be joined to photo voltaic photovoltaic farms.
